Well, after taking a much needed break from working on the house we are back in the saddle again. With winter approaching (QUICKLY) we need to get the duct work back up and a new heating unit. Of course there are many things involved with that. Putting the vapor barrier down, regarding the dirt in the crawlspace, insulating the crawlspace, fixing the hole in the living room floor.

We have another deadline to meet, visitors. Rob’s folks are going to make the trek down so we want to get the house as close to finished as we can. We have to show off the place!

All this means our house goes back into construction zone and we don’t get to relax after work anymore. That’s ok, we took our sweet time getting to this project. Last night we visited the ‘po (that’s Home Depo for all you simple folks) and got the subfloor to replace the damaged piece in the living room and tonight we are going to try and get slats of oak flooring to replace the wood that was water damaged.
