Wow, I have been slacking on the blog. The last thing I wrote about was the marathon. Well I have not run since then. I no longer run for fun, I simply do not enjoy it as much as I used to. Damn Marathon.

I have even bigger news then the marathon .... Rob proposed to me on Thanksgiving morning. He did it on the water in downtown Annapolis and it was perfect. I cried and the dog just stood there and stared at us. He asked Mom for permission the night before, she did a good job at keeping a secret and she was very touched that he asked for her permission.

So we have been plodding along with the wedding planning.
We got the church we wanted at the time we wanted.
We got the reception hall and they cut us a break.
We got a raw bar!!!!!!
We have save the dates (that are sitting on the table, waiting to be sent)
We got the photographer, he was the best and suprisingly enough... the cheapest!
I have 2 dresses that I will have made into one.

It looks like we have everything together. Suprisingly enough this has been pretty low maitenance and has not taken much of our time so we have been traveling again. We were in FL with my godson for his christening. That was an awesome trip - the christening was on the water and there was a manatee that kept sticking his nose out of the water to check us out. I saved some sand and shells from the beach and will make it into some kind of memento for him. I'll get my sister, Martha Stewart, to help me out with that one.

I was in NY 2 weeks ago for a baby shower and really re-discovered how much I love my cousins children. Thier daughter is one of the most creative children I have seen in a long time and has one hell of a sense of humor but has this fantastic stubborn streak. She has all the signs of greatness.

I tought Rob the basics of Craps over the weekend and now we are toying with a trip to AC on Thursday night. Hotel rooms at my favorite casino are on sale for $59 per night.....
