I should open a wedding shop.

I got a UPS package on Monday from Martins Bridal, I assumed it was my wedding dress and thought it was weird they sent the dress to my home address and never called me. There was a note on top of the dress saying Martins had filed for bankruptcy and they have sent me a similar dress. They also told me to contact the vendor, Allure, since they will probably work with me to get my original dress.

Believe it or not, I remained cool and did not blow a fuse. I tried on the ugly consolation dress and then immediately went on line to do some research. Apparently there were horror stories of brides getting married in 2 weeks and not being able to get their dress from Martins.

When I called Allure they said that my dress was ready to be shipped Aug 1st and that I will have to pay them for the dress but the good news is that 9 times out of 10 our credit card company will dispute the charges for us and refund us the $ we paid Martins.

So I have 3 wedding dresses in my house and soon there will be 4. I should open a wedding shop.
