Wedding day part one

Hm, not sure exactly where to start – weddings are a big day.

Weather was perfect, sunny and a little bit of a chill but totally comfortable in a strapless ball gown.
We had our make up and hair done at the hotel and Connie mentioned that it was one of her favorite times and I totally agree. It was so nice and relaxing to get pampered and just hang out before the wedding, everybody was calm and the hair chair was facing the window so I could look out on City Dock. We had calamari and quesadilla while listening to the radio. Genevieve’s up do was really stunning on her. My hair was stunning as well, I really enjoyed letting Kelly and the other ladies be creative and do what they do best.

Once we were ready, Rochelle, Mary Ann and Mom showed up and then the party really began. We saw the 2 jets do the fly by for the NAVY game and Connie said it was a romantic pair of jets for our wedding. I had 4+ people help me get my ½ naked self into the dress while the photographer stood on the bed with his back to us. It was quite a scene.

I loved walking from the hotel to the church – downtown was packed and people were honking the horns and waving, the sun was so bright we should have been wearing glasses. We got to Duke of Gloucester St and the bridge was up so traffic was stopped – our photographer stood in the middle of the street and told us to do our best Reservoir Dogs strut down the middle of the street. That was awesome and I can’t wait for the pictures of that.

Sitting in the waiting room wasn’t much fun. The anticipation was just too much at that point and I was feeling antsy. Princess Sparkle Star, Marissa and Tony stopped by and that was a lot of fun. There is nothing more amusing then watching a little girl look at a bride. They get starry eyed, it’s so cute!
