Hi, I’m back.

It’s been pretty busy; we have a new kitchen with all new appliances and cabinets.
I spent a week in the Outer Banks with the fam, and I battle incredible pain in my back daily.
We ran the dishwasher last night for the first time and Rob was actually giddy, it was a momentous occasion in our marriage, according to him. I’ll get a picture of his handiwork up in the next day or so but we finally have a fully operational death star. The appliances are stainless and black so it really does remind me of the death star.

In the Outer Banks my cousins caught over 200 lbs of tuna and we had sushi appetizers every night and seared tuna for our main course at least 3 nights. Words cannot describe how perfect this tuna tasted. It was like the best tuna sashimi but even fresher, more tender, a much more organic ocean taste.

We also saw dolphins surfing, mere yards in front of us while we were on the beach. They were surfing waves in and then jumping clear out of the water. I had never seen dolphins truly frolicking on their own and this was awesome.

My back, sigh, what a pain, literally. After a MRI, Acupuncturists, Pain Management Doctors, Neurologists and a boatload of stupid medicine that I hate taking I am no better. The one thing that does give me some relief is the acupuncture, I wish I had started doing that years ago.
