I have been suffering with a nasty cold for about a week and 1/2 so most of my time has been spent either suffering through work or laying on the sofa under a blankie with a humidifier near by.
There were a few nice things lately, I managed to drag myself to Pilates despite the cold and twice, I was the only person who showed up. Essentially, I got 2 free one on one sessions which is awesome since form is everything in Pilates.
Getting Rob's Christmas presents was totally painless, it was a trip to EMS for a coat he loved and a quick click on the llbean website for fleece lined jeans. We decided to take it easy on the presents this year, at least until we see what kind of bonus he gets. Who knows, we may be celebrating with filet and vino at Ruth Chris... but then again, we may be celebrating his bonus with a trip to Subway. The whole thing is going towards the mortgage anyway so I suppose it doesn't really matter, we won't be splurging on anything big this year.

My acupuncturist told me that he does fertility acupuncture. I am constantly amazed with acupuncture and told him so, as proof of his success he told he he has seven children. He tells me that he has luck with women up to age 43, he has never had a woman over 43 conceive with just his help. He said he would be successful with me and said I should come in the day after my cycle ends (tomorrow) and I get acupuncture. Apparently it makes the uterus very friendly. We shall see.....
