My baby has been on another fantastic road trip. We FINALLY saw Cape Cod in the summer and it was beautiful. The lilacs were in bloom everywhere and I saw white, light purple and very deep purple lilacs. They are definitely my favorite flower. I missed the lilac bloom in my backyard, while we were staying at my mothers, so I have been in lilac withdrawal. I immediately cut a bunch from Lloyd’s house and kept them in my hotel room.

We got to spend time with Rob’s Mom, which is awesome. Rob always talks about how much he loves my mom and I feel the same way about Ann. I always wish we could spend more time with her.
The point of the trip was to pick up Rob’s Father’s things and boy we got some awesome stuff. We got a 8mm camera that belonged to his grandfather, along with great WWII war propaganda movies and a slew of home movies, old pictures and actual receipts from the 20’s. Lloyd and his mother were pack rats but some of that stuff is extremely interesting.
