When I left General Physics, I was a bit panicked about not working so I grabbed up the first contract that came my way. It's a great contract, working from home doing technical recruiting for about 20 hours a week and the pay is big.
But, I am realizing that work is severely cutting into my busy schedule. I wake up about 10 am and have a nice breakfast, then watch the news or read it on line for an hour. I get to the gym at 11 ish and spend 1 1/2 hours there or so and then it's time for a biiiiig lunch. By the time lunch is done, it's nap time.
After nap time, it's walk the dog time and think about dinner time. Next think you know Rob is home. So you see, work is interfering. I just don't have 20 hours a week for work.
I got the contract through a good friend and don't want to let him down but I think I am going to have to look at an end date since I have a trip to Florida and a trip to the Hamptons coming up. Oh yeah, and the pools open up in June. Where will I find the time to swim in the pool. It's my natural habitat since I am looking more and more like a walrus with each day that passes.
