I have been a long time fan of Japanese cinema, not the anime stuff but their horror movies. The Eye, The Grudge, Iron Man and the one with the crazy girl and the audition (I can't remember the name) are some great movies with amazing visuals. The plots aren't dumbed down for American audiences and they scare you but not with the cheap Hollywood suspense crap, like the classic build up and the cat that jumps out of the closet or loud noise. The images are absolutely haunting, kind of like the Cell. Hm, I need to buy the Cell, that's a great movie also.

I just found out The Departed was a remake of a Japanese or Chinese movie, it figures. I wish I could find good Japanese/Chinese movies, they are so hard to find at the video store. I am sure there is an entire web sphere of Asian movie nuts. Maybe while I have the month of August off, I can do some movie watching.

Telling people I am pregnant is getting addictive, I want to walk around the office, the gym, the grocery store etc with a bullhorn and announce I had sex and am knocked up!
Cindy at work was so excited she jumped up and down so I jumped up and down.
The trainer at work said I looked fantastic for 10 weeks and we did cardio together.
After I have the talk with somebody I feel excited again and my adrenaline is rushing just like when Rob and I first found out I was pregnant.

After ranting and raving about how much I hate low rise pants, I now appreciate them. My belly fits perfectly into my sassy low rise jeans and I don't have to wrangle the top button like with my other pants. I do have to buy more long shirts becuase nobody wants to see my underwear peek out of my pants, except my husband, of course.

CheesesteakS - plural

January flew by me. It started with a trip to San Francisco and ended with a sonigram! Unfortunately I can't get the damn thing scanned, they all come out too dark so there will be no sonigram pictures but the picture just looks like a white smudge in the middle of a black smudge so there is really nothing to see.

Kev, Chelle and Riley moved to PA so they are only 2 hours away which makes me unbelievable happy. Chelle is expecting in July so it's nice to have her nearby and I really missed them when they were in NC.
There are some people in your life that are absolutely genuine friends who you love with all of your heart and even if you don't see them very oftern you quicly fall into familiarity with them. Kev and Chelle fall into that category.

Rob and I saw a food network thing on Philly Cheesesteaks last week and ever since I have been CRAVING a cheesesteak.
We are heading up to Philly for a birthday party next weekend and when I got the directions, I realized the party is less then a mile from Pat's and Geno's.
I am so excited and have planned out my cheesesteak fix already. I'm going to Geno's for a pre party chesesteak and then on the way out of Philly we'll stop at Pat's and have 'one for the road'. I have to have some kind of guilty pleasure, this trip is going to be a booze fest for everybody but Chelle and me. Maybe I should bring her a cheesesteak also.
